PLAISIR DE VIVRE
GO WITH THE FLOT
Who can help
but dream of the clear ocean waters at the sight of the
beautiful blue jewellery of Florence T. Bourgineau -
otherwise known as FloT.B? An adopted Quebecer living
here for six years now. Florence crafts delightful
jewellery that is at once elfish and bohemian and
extremely affordable. This season parade of Bohemian
glass, Czech crystal and semi-precious stones on finely
plated silver thread draws its inspiration from water.

CLIN D'ŒIL
OUI MES TRÉSORS!
To
end the summer on a good note, Florence T. Bourgineau's
bracelets seem to have come right out of a Mediterranean
search.

CHÂTELAINE
LA
PASSION DU MÉTIER
Florence
Bourgineau for Flot.B Creations. She worked in the real
estate business in Paris until the day, seven years ago,
she decided to undertake a drastic change of career; she
dropped everything to become a jewellery designer
discovering by the same token her real passion. Settled
in Montréal for four years, she creates unique pieces
of jewellery, spheres and pearls.

LES AFFAIRES +
PETITS
BIJOUX
After years
of absence, luxurious accessories are back in style in
women’s fashion. The austerity of last year’s
minimalist clips and discrete necklaces have been
replaced by shiny pearls and stones that make the 9 to 5
more feminine and elegant. The new collection stands out
with its bright colour stones, the return of pearls and
rhinestones, and by the medieval influence totally in
the ‘vintage’ spirit of the autumn collection.

LA PRESSE
CROQUEUSE DE BIJOUX
“Women love my jewellery because of its typical
Parisian style” observed French designer, Florence T.
Bourgineau, who has been settled in Quebec for five
years. Her trademark FloT.B, a contraction of her name,
evokes water, her favourite element. She creates fashion
jewellery which emphasizes femininity. She uses bohemian
glass beads, crystal, turquoise, mother-of-pearl and
hematite. What inspires her? The blue Mediterranean
waves and the colour of the pearls that she happens to
come across here an there when she visits her retailers.
The main items of the winter collection? The Gothic
cross decorated with semi-precious stones and the four
rows bracelet with strass. At Flot.B the accessories
become jewels too. After the fashion of bracelets and
other chokers, we can find some pretty taffetas evening
bags and Pashmina shawls decorated with little beads. We
love those jewels, so affordable!

FEMME
DES BIJOUX DE BIJOUX
Florence T.
Bourgineau was not afraid to change paths and we are in
fact quite glad for it! With Jean-Marc, her husband, and
two children, Julien and Alice, she left her native
Saint Germain-en-Laye in 1997 to settle in Quebec. In
France, her parents had a clothing boutique. Already
then, she loved to decorate the shop’s windows, to
create accessories and even design clothes with cloth
from Mauricius. After attending a jewellery school and
obtaining her certificate, she specialized in creating
unique items, tailored and ready-to-wear jewellery
signed FloT.B. “For me, creating is as fundamental as
breathing”, she said, I love trinkets not only for
their beauty but also for the sound they make when they
move around. Florence T. Bourgineau pays particular
attention to details, strass, decorations and clasps
from Europe, and her jewellery is extremely feminine.

VOIR ACCESSOIRES
Elegant,
slightly baroque, a bit bohemian, Florence T,
Bourgineau’s jewellery makes you think of Provence,
the Mediterranean or a dream. An artist at heart, this
French lady settled in Montréal is guided by her
intuition and travels. She works with bohemian glass
beads, crystals, turquoise, mother of pearl, hematite
that she transforms into braided or sculptured. FloT.
B’s jewels of night blue colour, purple, crimson red,
or black bewitches those who come across them. They are
for the romantic people in search of mystery.
